One of the greatest parts about the Jurassic Classic Fishing Experience has been the collaboration among wildlife conservation groups. The original intent of this event was to move towards working together for common goals in the province of BC. Working alongside the Wild Sheep Foundation with its support and outreach to various Chapters and Affiliates, the Jurassic Classic committee works to ensure on-the-ground sheep conversation takes place and collaboration exists among groups involved.
The Wild Sheep Society of BC and the Guide Outfitter Association of BC comprise the committee responsible for planning and hosting the Jurassic Classic and reach out to several Chapters throughout North America to ensure the opportunity to attend is represented at various levels.
Through the growth of the Jurassic Classic, various other outdoor conservation groups have been involved in supporting the wild sheep conservation efforts in the province. Various SCI chapters have supported our event in the past and we look forward to future collaboration conversations in years to come.
